Working as a Part of a Care Team is an Important Skill for Research Pharmacists

Clinical trial participants often have even more questions than patients receiving standard-of-care treatments, so working within the team to answer their questions and provide optimal care is essential for research pharmacists.

In his work with Cancer Treatment Centers of America, research pharmacist Brian Wortz, PharmD, said he works within a broad care team of physicians, nurses, data coordinators, study coordinators, and others.
