Pharmacy Hero: Pharmacist Delivers Meals to Sick Patients, Works ‘Tirelessly’

Today, we’re celebrating the work of Nidhin Mohan, RPh, from New Island Pharmac y in Deer Park, New York. In addition to working 40 days in a row to keep the pharmacy running, Mohan has gone above and beyond to even care for his staff’s friends and family.

When a fellow staff member’s father was diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Mohan delivered meals every evening for 2 weeks after working 12-hour shifts. Similarly, when a local man passed away from COVID-19, Mohan left a donation in the family’s mailbox and brought meals for the family.
