Bruce Kneeland: One other opportunity that many astute pharmacists take advantage of is to search out opportunities to enroll patients in patient assistance programs and to provide manufacturer copay coupons and working with your pharmacy provider, your pharmacy management system provider—you can often have electronic access to this information and speed up and assist in the enrollment process and that’s a huge asset to the consumer and it’s a huge asset to the physicians in the area which is very appreciated at least from the pharmacies that I visit that do this.
