With their movement towards provider status, pharmacists are facing the new challenge of entering a marketplace where there are already other providers.

With their movement towards provider status, pharmacists are facing the new challenge of entering a marketplace where there are already other providers, according to Fred Eckel, RPh, MS.

“As the resources to support patient care doesn’t grow to the extent that we need it to, we’re going to have to take on some other providers and challenge them to see how we can collaborate with them,” he explains. “The value of our collaboration will improve both of our abilities to take care of patients better.”
