How to Treat Headache

Andrew Charles, MD, professor and director of the Headache Research and Treatment Program at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, discusses migraine treatment, and the strategy that healthcare providers should use when approaching migraine patients. Dr. Charles talks about the use of tryptans for acute migraine, preventive medication using neutraceuticals, and prescription medications such as tricyclics and beta blockers.
