In a new video from the FDA, Joseph Toerner, MD, MPH, talks about the importance of properly using antibiotics and the dangers of misuse. He also reviews the “do’s and “don’ts” of taking antibiotics, stressing that the drugs are designed to fight bacterial infections, and not to treat colds.
