OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Generic Acid Controller

Indication: Acid controllers relieve heartburn associated with indigestion.

Insight:

  • Active ingredients: Famotidine 10 mg
  • Directions: Take 1 tablet by mouth with full glass of water—do not chew.
  • Do not use more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Storage: Store in 68-77 degrees.
  • Can help prevent heartburn associated with indigestion from certain foods.
