Bruce Kneeland: There’s a number of vaccinations that are commonly provided by pharmacists and if you’re not doing these, I would encourage you to do. That would include pneumonia, shingles, obviously flu. In today’s political environment, certainly there is some controversy associated with measles and those types of things. I would encourage pharmacists to do a little extra study, to pull up some background information, some credibility statements, and to take an active role with signs and posters and in their advertisements, letting people know that vaccinations have been proven to be effective, they’re safe and that if they have questions please come in and talk to me and I can answer them for you and provide the clinical information that would be appropriate for you to have.
